Golmaal 3 is another laugh riot but it has plenty of action too. Every star in the film has a thrilling introductory scene, and that includes Kareena Kapoor. The actress, who will be seen in a tomboy avatar, will make an entry with a fistfight that required her to balance on the bonnet of a car, speeding at 110 kms and then fly some feet off the ground.

Considering the risk involved, director Rohit Shetty himself decided to drive the car and ensured that his nervous leading lady was harnessed to a rod for safety. The scene, that was rehearsed about 10 times with a duplicate and another eight times with Kapoor, was okayed after four takes. “Today, I’m expected to create a new car chase for every film I do. Thank God I have a mad brain that comes to my aid,” laughs Shetty. After the two race sequences in Golmaal and Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 has a chase that was filmed in Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.

A funfair set spread over 15 acres was created for the pre-climax. Mithun Chakraborty, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, a Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu, Kareena Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah, were part of the scene that had the goons speeding after them.

The highlight of the scene was six cars going 70 feet in the air and one of them crashing against a giant-wheel that was bought because they couldn’t get one on rent. Shetty is not ready to divulge how he made the cars fly. All he will say is that the stuntmen jumped off mid-way through and there was no one inside the car when it crashed.
